It took me 3 months to receive my two +1 gold cards while the alt I created (from which all this upgrades info came from) reached the maximum 30g/acre in less than 2 weeks. You can receive the +1 gold from the Mysterious Trader before you have purchased the armor castle. When you trade with the Mysterious Trader, your odds are similar to playing the lottery. I have seen the trader 4 times and he only offers things like that I can buy land more cheaply, my land will sell for more, or that you will always find trasure on land bought within the year.
